DreamDay Technology Limited was founded in 2019 by Kharifa Abdulai Kumara with the vision to provide free quality education for students around Sierra Leone. In 2020, DreamDay Technology Limited was registered as a Private Company under the Company Act No. 5 of 2009 and functions as a social enterprise where profit made by the company is used to impact lives in the society.

The Founder & CEO, Kharifa Abdulai Kumara started helping students at UNIMTECH and other universities like Linkowking, Njala, BlueCrest, and more. He later created a WhatsApp group and helped more learners, within the first few months.
In the search of finding more easier ways to help, contributions were made by Muhammad Ibrahim Bangura, Former Dean of the School of Technology, and Ing Amb. Ibrahim Abdulai Sawaneh, Former Director of Academic Affairs, from the University of Management and Technology (UNIMTECH) respectively, gave the inception of DreamDay University as the first free online learning platform (eLearning) in Sierra Leone.

Among the products and services being offered, the ‘E-Learning’ platform of DreamDay Technology aims to educate people on how they can learn from various courses and programs at different levels, share knowledge among their peers, and collaboratively support and expand its outreach programs.

The website will also publish courses that will help students to leverage ICT for career preparedness and development and enhancing university training to improve employability.

The project includes an online research center called Salone Repository (eLibrary), which aims to provide students with educational resources by giving them access to read, download, and publish books, theses, journals, articles, etc.

Its purpose is to educate people of all works of life that are pursuing, or wish to pursue higher learning, to help them on how they can help improve their academic learning experience using the websites.
